Brazil-based trading technology provider PropHub has announced a strategic venture round led by New York-based fintech strategy and operations firm Merchant Seven (M7) and a group of private investors.
PropHub said the financing will support product development, strengthen its sales and marketing operations, and accelerate international expansion. Through M7’s Harbor programme, it will also gain hands-on support from experienced fintech operators. The amount raised was not disclosed in the release.
The company supplies technology to brokerages, proprietary trading firms and crypto platforms. Its approach centres on “composability”: allowing operators to combine modular products across traditional and on-chain markets.

Gabriel Kassouf, CEO, PropHub
“Composability is where the trading industry is heading. The next generation of operators will assemble their businesses from best-in-class components, across both traditional and on-chain markets. We want PropHub to be the layer that makes the next frontier possible.”- Gabriel Kassouf, CEO, PropHub
Launching a brokerage, prop firm or trading platform can involve connecting trading front ends, client dashboards, CRM, back-office systems, risk tools, payments and reporting from multiple providers, then maintaining the integrations between them.
PropHub says its modular stack brings those functions together. Operators can start with a single toolset or commission a customised turnkey build, with products accessible through consolidated REST and WebSocket APIs.
Merchant Seven has also published related research on the evolution of the sector in its Retail Prop Trading Reset series.
PropHub was founded by CEO Gabriel Kassouf, CPO Felipe Vella and CTO Rafael Viveiros. Each has more than a decade of experience in trading and investing, including running trading operations.
“We spent years on the operator side of the business, and we know how much time and capital goes into technology that should simply work. Brokers, props, and exchanges shouldn't have to stitch together a dozen vendors to serve their clients. PropHub is the one-shot composable stack they can launch within days, and can grow into for years to come.” - Gabriel Kassouf, CEO, PropHub
Harbor is M7’s programme for investing in early-stage fintech founders and embedding its team within their companies. Alongside capital, PropHub will gain access to M7’s “forward-deployed engineers” (FDEs), described in the release as senior operators who work inside portfolio companies on a fractional basis across strategy, sales operations, marketing, investor relations and market data.
M7 said the model addresses the difficulty younger trading technology businesses face in recruiting experienced specialists.

Pierce Crosby, Founder and Managing Partner, Merchant Seven
“It has never been harder to hire world-class talent in trading technology, and that gap holds back too many great young companies. PropHub's founders bring rare operator experience and a comprehensive product across brokerage, prop trading, and crypto markets.” - Pierce Crosby, Founder and Managing Partner, Merchant Seven
PropHub’s products cover three markets, each served through white-label platforms or custom turnkey builds:
• Brokers: Trading platform deployment, CRM and back office, dealing-desk risk management, and payments integration for deposits and withdrawals under the operator’s own brand.
• Prop firms: Trader onboarding and KYC, challenge management, automated payouts and profit splits, affiliate attribution, business intelligence, fraud detection and order-flow hedging. Modules include Prop OS, RiskOps, PropOversight and FlowManager.
• Crypto: White-label decentralised exchange infrastructure on Hyperliquid and other exchanges, spanning perpetuals, spot, tokenised real-world assets and prediction markets. Features include embedded self-custodial wallets, on-chain settlement and a protocol-native revenue layer for operators.
During the Harbor programme, PropHub plans to expand its products across all three markets, build a repeatable sales and distribution operation, establish channel partnerships and enter international markets beyond Latin America.
