Multi-asset CFD broker ACY Securities has appointed Phil Kim as Director of Institutional Sales, Asia for its institutional division ACY Connect, signalling an expansion of its Asian institutional business.
Kim, who will be based in Hong Kong, brings nearly two decades of foreign exchange industry experience to the role. He previously held senior institutional sales positions at ISAM Securities, Sucden Financial and LMAX Group in the Asia-Pacific region. Before relocating to Hong Kong in 2011, he served as Vice President at FXCMPro in New York.
In his new role, Kim will focus on developing institutional client relationships across Asia and identifying new business opportunities. He will report directly to ACY Securities' CEO Jimmy Ye while working across ACY Connect's operations.
