ATFX Shares Insights On FX Portfolio Strategies
As part of the event's speaker programme, Mohammad Shanti, Head of Market Research & Analysis, ATFX MENA, delivered a presentation titled "Designing Currency Pairs & FX Portfolios for 2026 Macro Regimes."
The session looked at how changing macroeconomic conditions can influence currency markets, and at the factors traders may consider when building FX portfolios. Shanti covered three areas: understanding different macro regimes, selecting currency pairs based on macro drivers, correlation and risk exposure, and building FX portfolios that can adapt to changing market conditions.
Taking a portfolio view of currencies, the presentation focused on how different positions interact and how shifts in the broader macroeconomic environment can affect market exposure.
Dubai's Growing Financial Community
Dubai has become an increasingly important financial centre in the MENA region, with its strategic location and expanding financial ecosystem attracting businesses from international markets. Forex Expo Dubai 2026 drew more than 23,000 attendees, 270 exhibitors and 150 speakers over two days.
ATFX continues to build its presence across MENA as Dubai develops as a financial centre for the region.
