Crypto.com has launched Tokenized Stocks, a new product designed to give users exposure to US equities and exchange-traded funds directly through the Crypto.com App.
The product initially offers exposure to 1,500 underlying stocks and funds, with access available from as little as US$1. It is available to eligible users in the European Economic Area, as well as other approved jurisdictions globally.
Tokenized Stocks allows trading outside traditional market hours, with 24/7 access to instruments referencing underlying assets such as NVDA, TSLA and AAPL, as well as ETFs providing exposure to commodities including GLD and SLV. The product also offers fractional access and fast settlement.
Tokenized Stocks are derivative financial instruments designed to track the price performance of corresponding underlying assets. They do not confer legal or beneficial ownership of those assets or any associated shareholder rights, though users may be eligible for dividend equivalent adjustments, subject to applicable product terms.
The underlying assets supporting the Tokenized Stocks are held in custody with Alpaca, a US regulated self-clearing broker-dealer that Crypto.com states provides the infrastructure supporting more than 90% of the tokenized US stocks and ETF market.

Foris Capital CY Limited is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and holds a Cypriot Investment Firm licence under the Investment Services Law 87(I)/2017, as amended, which implements the EU Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) in Cyprus.
