Market data and financial technology provider dxFeed has launched dxFeed ZeroDTE, a quantitative analytics solution for the zero-days-to-expiration (0DTE) options market. It was developed by dxFeed's AI & Quant Research team.
dxFeed is a subsidiary of capital markets software developer Devexperts (@Devexperts), the company behind the DXtrade trading platform. dxFeed data is already built into Devexperts' own products. When LIQUIDITYFINDER reported on Devexperts' turnkey futures trading platform for US brokers, the platform used dxFeed for real-time Level 1 and Level 2 quotes from CME and ICE.
ZeroDTE converts live SPX and XSP options data into pricing and risk analytics. It is aimed at brokers, trading platforms and analytics providers that want to show traders the likely outcomes of a trade before they enter it.
Most trading interfaces display strikes, premiums and margin requirements. ZeroDTE adds the market-implied probabilities behind each strategy: the likelihood of keeping the full premium, of a partial loss, and of reaching the maximum possible loss.
dxFeed says it differs from probability calculations that rely on a single implied volatility estimate or delta. ZeroDTE analyses the entire live options chain, including the volatility smile and distribution tails.
Through a single API integration, platforms can offer traders:
• Market-implied probabilities of different profit and loss outcomes
• Fair value comparisons against displayed market prices
• Maximum profit, maximum loss and break-even levels for individual strategies
• A market-implied distribution of today's close, derived from live options data
• Strategies defined in units of the day's priced move, so the same structure can be compared across days and market conditions
The service supports iron condors, butterflies, straddles, strangles and vertical spreads.
According to US exchange operator Cboe, same-day contracts accounted for approximately 65% of SPX options trading volume in Q3 2026, averaging a record 3.2 million contracts a day. dxFeed says the analytical tools available to traders have not kept pace with that growth, particularly for multi-leg strategies.
Jon Light, Senior Director of Product Management at Devexperts, has previously highlighted this challenge. Light was also quoted on LIQUIDITYFINDER when Devexperts entered the prediction market space with an event-based trading solution for brokers and exchanges.
"Retail platforms are good at showing a probability of profit, and most will show the maximum loss as well. What they don't show is how likely that loss is. ZeroDTE puts the odds next to the worst case: the chance of keeping the credit, of a partial loss and of the maximum loss, read from the whole option chain rather than a single volatility number. Rather than predicting where the market will go, we give traders the tools to understand what current options prices imply, evaluate different strategies consistently, and make more informed decisions." - Anton Antonov, Head of AI & Quant Research at dxFeed,
ZeroDTE joins three other dxFeed products:
• SummerFox, an AI-powered market intelligence solution
• Grenadier, an AI-based market data anomaly detection technology
• dxScript, an AI-assisted scripting environment for custom market analytics and indicators
Devexperts has also added AI to its broker-facing products, including personalised daily trading reports through its Devexa AI trading assistant.
The new analytics have already been integrated into DXcharts, Devexperts' charting library. dxFeed notes that all figures are market-implied from current option prices and are not a forecast or a recommendation.
