FOREX.com has introduced weekend trading for US SP 500 and US Tech 100 CFDs in Japan. The products are operated by StoneX Securities Co. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of StoneX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SNEX).
According to StoneX Securities’ research as of 8 October 2026, which covered information published on the official websites of all domestic FX/CFD providers and major online securities firms in Japan known to it, FOREX.com is the first online trading platform in Japan to offer trading of these products seven days a week.
The service allows investors to manage positions and express their market views without waiting for the underlying markets to reopen on Monday. The extended trading window also gives investors an additional tool to manage risk and respond more promptly to evolving global events.
Trading hours are set in Japan Standard Time. From Monday to Friday, trading runs from 07:00 to 06:00 the following day, with a daily maintenance break from 06:00 to 07:00. On Saturday, trading runs from 17:00 to 06:00 the following day, with a break from 06:00 to 17:00. On Sunday, trading runs from 07:00 to 06:00 the following day, with a maintenance break from 06:00 to 07:00.
The launch follows the introduction in August of overnight trading on selected Japan Stock CFDs and Japan Stock CFD Knock-Out Options at FOREX.com.

Markets are increasingly shaped by events that occur outside traditional trading hours, and investors expect the ability to respond in real time. In August, we were the first in Japan to offer overnight trading on selected Japan Stock CFDs and Japan Stock CFD Knock-Out Options, extending access to trading opportunities outside regular domestic market hours.
Today, we are building on that momentum and offering weekend trading on the US SP 500 and US Tech 100 CFDs. By broadening access across both the Japanese and US markets, we are empowering clients by providing them with more solutions to help manage risks, act on new information, and engage with global markets.
