London, 27 February 2018 - QuantHouse, the independent global provider of end-to-end high performance market data and trading through API based technologies, announced today the addition of CMC Markets to its QH API Ecosystem.
CMC Markets’ Institutional division offers a multi-asset product range (including Equities, Equity indices, FX & Commodity derivatives etc.) to banks, hedge funds and brokerages who want wholesale access to the company’s highly regarded technology via CMC’s Direct API, Prime API and various Front end platforms.
Access to CMC Markets’ trading platform will be available from QuantHouse’s qh Ecosystem. By joining the qh Ecosystem, financial firms as well as QuantHouse’s clients will have easy, efficient access to trade on CMC Markets’ platform.
CMC’s offering will allow clients to trade on global Single Stocks constituents, Equity Indices, FX, Commodities and Treasuries derivatives.
The tie-up enables CMC execution services to be easily accessible by hedge fund and brokerage clients in more than 22 financial datacenters across the globe through the QuantHouse network. Additionally, QuantHouse’s client and partner community of more than 500 participants will be able to quickly and easily gain global access to the CMC set of services.
The QuantHouse Ecosystem enables providers to turn their services portfolio into global, available on-demand solutions through open APIs, removing the burden of the traditional per customer implementation model.
Anthony Edwards, Institutional Sales Manager, CMC Markets, said, “Our clients have been asking us to give them the ability to access additional asset classes, so with this in mind we have been developing our new CMC Prime platforms and API technology. This will allow our institutional counterparties to directly access an extended range of instruments, all from a single provider.”
Stephane Leroy, Business Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, QuantHouse, said, “CMC Markets shares the same ethos as QuantHouse - to provide easy API connectivity on a low latency basis. This new tie-up ensures QuantHouse’s clients will benefit from quick, efficient and low-cost access to trading on the CMC platform, while at the same time, CMC clients will benefit from easy access to the API Ecosystem for a number of trading services made available by our members.
