Last week, with the generous support of Integral, we held our inaugural London Summer Round Table as part of the LiquidityFinder Executive Club. 42 senior leaders from the financial markets trading industry came together to discuss topical issues, network and make connections. Integral were able to provide more detail on their recent connection to the CME (providing access to EBS Market and FX Spot+) and some other exciting new developments and product innovations in FX and crypto.
I have been wanting to hold an event for LiquidityFinder's partner clients like this in London for a long time (building on the event in Cyprus last year) - last week Integral made it possible. Huge thanks to them for sponsoring this half-day gathering at the historic Sussex Cellar venue of Berry Bros. & Rudd in St. James (I can highly recommend as a venue).
The feedback from all attendees was really positive, with several attendees saying that they found this focused format more valuable than longer industry conferences, with deeper conversations and fruitful conversations about further collaboration. A lot of people were saying that the combination of people that attended was really what made the afternoon special for them.
Key discussion points included:
- Shifting demand from traditional CFD products to multi-asset solutions
- Growth opportunities in UAE and LATAM markets
- Increasing interest in spot crypto and exchange-traded products
- The importance of regional specialisation, particularly around gold pricing
- Payment solutions (esp. stablecoins)
It was really rewarding to see genuine connections being made and practical industry challenges being discussed openly among peers some of whom might have thought of themselves as direct competitors before Thursday.
Quality over quantity.
Looking ahead: We're planning events in Dubai, Singapore, and Cyprus, alongside our return to London next year. The goal remains the same - creating opportunities for industry professionals to meet in person, share insights, and build meaningful business relationships.
Thank you Matthew Avery, Sanjay Madgavkar, Paul Spillman, Dobromir Donev, Kate Bennett, Monary Amezcua from Integral for your help in organising and sponsoring the event. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to the discussions and gave valuable feedback.
