Each March the Futures Industry Association holds its flagship annual meeting in Boca Raton, Florida, and the 2027 edition runs from 7 to 10 March. Long known as the International Futures Industry Conference – or simply "Boca" – it is now billed as the FIA Global Cleared Markets Conference, reflecting its focus on exchange-traded and centrally cleared derivatives worldwide.
The conference draws senior figures from exchanges, clearing houses, futures commission merchants, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, technology vendors and regulators. Discussion typically centres on market structure, clearing and risk management, regulatory change, and the impact of new technology and asset classes on listed derivatives. Platinum sponsors include CME Group, ICE and Nasdaq.
Beyond the formal programme, Boca is valued as a networking and business development forum, with many firms scheduling client and partner meetings around the sessions. FIA had not published the agenda or speakers at the time of writing; general registration opens on 15 October 2026.
