Global fintech broker ATFX served as Platinum Sponsor at the annual Icebreakers Chinese New Year Dinner, marking the Year of the Snake at London's Dorchester Hotel on 22 January 2025.

The event, jointly organised by the 48 Group, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK), and the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), brought together senior figures from Britain and China's business, diplomatic, academic and cultural sectors.

Notable attendees included Jack Perry, Chairman of the 48 Group and Chief Executive of London Export Corporation; FANG Wenjian, Chairman of CCCUK and General Manager of Bank of China London Branch; H.E. ZHENG Zeguang, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China; Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, Chair of CBBC and Senior Adviser at HSBC Holdings; and Joe Li, Chairman of ATFX.

The Icebreakers Dinner, considered a cornerstone event in the UK-China business calendar, provided a platform for high-level networking between leaders of both nations. During the evening, Jack Perry acknowledged ATFX's sponsorship contribution, whilst Joe Li participated in the evening's raffle prize presentation.

For ATFX, which operates in 23 locations globally under various regulatory frameworks including the UK's FCA, Australian ASIC, Cypriot CySEC, UAE's SCA, Hong Kong SFC and South African FSCA, the sponsorship aligns with its strategy of expanding international partnerships.

The Year of the Snake's traditional associations with wisdom and adaptability mirror ATFX's focus on providing trading technology and market access to its global client base. The broker emphasises its commitment to regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions whilst delivering trading services through its fintech platform.

ATFX maintains operations across key financial centres, offering trading services under the oversight of regional regulatory authorities. The company's participation in the Icebreakers event underscores its engagement with both UK and Chinese markets.
