B2Broker Gains Labuan Investment Bank Licence, Expands Institutional Capabilities
Technology and liquidity provider B2Broker Prime Investment Bank Ltd. has secured a Labuan Investment Bank licence from the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA), marking a step change in the group’s regulatory footprint and positioning it within the same licensing tier as well-known incumbents including HSBC, JPMorgan, Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank.
Labuan IBFC, one of Asia’s longest-standing cross-border banking centres, is recognised for its pragmatic rulebook, international orientation and robust prudential oversight. The new licence provides B2Broker’s institutional clients with an additional layer of assurance, underpinning the firm’s liquidity, technology and credit workflows with a fully regulated investment-banking entity.
With the authorisation now in place, technology and liquidity group B2Broker can extend credit facilities to corporate clients, offer corporate and investment advisory services, deal in securities, manage investments, and support FX and derivatives activity — including interest-rate swaps, structured hedging and related treasury operations.
Arthur Azizov, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, said the licence marks a pivotal milestone for the firm.
Obtaining this licence is more than another regulatory achievement for us. The new licence lets us put real banking services right into our technology and liquidity systems, unlocking the final piece of our ecosystem. Now, our clients can easily access credit, risk management, and advisory services across borders, all fully regulated and built to institutional standards.
Arthur Azizov, CEO & Founder, B2Broker
Under its expanded, fully regulated framework, B2Broker plans to introduce several new products and services over the coming months:
Prime-of-Prime Liquidity: Multi-asset institutional liquidity, deep pools, tight pricing and enhanced onboarding standards.
Structured Credit & Treasury Solutions: Bespoke credit lines, treasury financing options and risk-managed facilities for institutional clients.
Corporate & Markets Advisory: Access to capital markets, FX, commodities, indices and — where permitted — digital-asset derivatives and structured products.
