June 30, 2023 - Cryptanium Fund I SP, has launched a new regulated digital asset hedge fund. The Cayman Islands-based fund is operated under the umbrella of regulated platform manager CV5 Digital SPC.
Capitalising on a trend-agnostic strategy, Cryptanium Fund I SP is focused on capital appreciation through the deployment of digital asset strategies that seek to harness yields and time-specific opportunities. The fund interacts with decentralised finance protocols and digital asset derivative and hedging solution providers to achieve market neutrality.
Cryptanium Fund I SP is regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) and is audited by a CIMA-approved auditor, offering investors an extra layer of confidence and credibility.
Eugene Moshnin, co-founder and Chief Investment Officer at Cryptanium, shared his thoughts over the fund's launch, "We are delighted to launch the Cryptanium Fund I SP. Given the increased scrutiny by investors we have launched a fund that is regulated and subject to the high standards of risk management expected of institutional investors. The fund’s unique investment approach is to exploit market inefficiency through liquidity provision, market-making activities and arbitrage on chosen liquidity pools selected for their security, liquidity and yield return potential. A proprietary research system is used to assist in the discovery of outstanding opportunities by screening major DeFi protocols and blockchains," he said.
Moshnin further explained the fund's unique approach to investment, which includes exploiting market inefficiency through liquidity provision, market-making activities, and arbitrage. The fund will choose liquidity pools selected for their security, liquidity, and yield return potential. A proprietary research system aids in discovering exceptional opportunities by screening major DeFi protocols and blockchains.
David Lloyd, Managing Director of CV5 Capital, the regulated platform manager, also expressed satisfaction with the new launch. "CV5 Digital SPC continues to be a leader in its field for digital asset fund managers seeking to launch and manage digital asset funds. We wish Cryptanium all the very best with the new launch,” he said.
