cTrader has rolled out an upgrade to charting on cTrader Mobile 5.9, giving traders a dedicated route into charts and reworked on-screen controls.
The update introduces a new tab for charts in the bottom navigation bar, sitting alongside the existing My cTrader, Trade and Blotter sections. Traders can now open a chart directly from the app bar with a single tap, a change made in response to user requests for quicker access to charting tools.
Once a chart is open, tapping anywhere on the screen brings up the main controls, with a second tap hiding them again. Action buttons, previously fixed in place, have been moved into a floating panel that appears when a drawing, order, position or price alert is selected. The panel can be dragged to any position on the chart, allowing traders to keep it accessible without it obstructing price action.
A focus mode has also been added for positions and orders. Selecting an individual position or order dims the rest of the chart, isolating the trade in question.
The upgrade follows cTrader Mobile being named Best Mobile Trading App at UF Awards Global 2026.
Sergey Borisov, Product Manager, cTrader Mobile at Spotware said:
"We built one of the smoothest, fastest and most responsive charting experiences in the industry. With this upgrade, we moved charting into the bottom menu and reworked the controls around it, so traders can get straight into their technical analysis without secondary functions getting in the way. That's really what our Traders First™ approach comes down to: listening to our traders' feedback and building around what they truly need."
