ATFX Connect, the institutional arm of ATFX, has appointed Professor Trevor Williams as Consultant Economist. The firm said the appointment reflects its aim to provide institutional clients with expert-led macroeconomic insight and analysis.
In his new role, Professor Williams will deliver economic commentary and strategic perspectives designed to strengthen ATFX Connect’s institutional positioning. The company said his work will help clients gain deeper insight into current economic conditions and market developments.
Professor Williams has held senior positions across the banking sector and policy-focused institutions. He was Chief Economist at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking for more than a decade and is currently the Rotating Chairman of the Institute of Economic Affairs Shadow Monetary Policy Committee, a group of independent economists offering alternative views on UK monetary policy.
