International Trading Institute Launches 16-Week Trading Psychology & Performance Certificate Alongside Master's Programme

      Published: just now

Barcelona-based trading education provider the International Trading Institute (ITI) has broadened its course offering beyond its flagship Master's in Trading, adding a wider range of professional development routes for traders at different levels of experience.

The expanded line-up now spans foundation programmes, standalone Master's-level courses, professional certificates, 1:1 mentorship and the accredited Master's in Trading. ITI says the structure is designed to reflect the different needs traders have as they progress, from building a grounding in markets and risk at the start, through to improving execution and psychology as active traders, and on to deeper study, structured feedback and mentoring for more experienced participants.

      Master's in Trading

The Master's in Trading sits at the top of the pathway. It is a two-year, part-time programme aimed at working professionals and independent traders who want to develop their trading within a more formal professional framework while continuing with their careers and market activity.

According to ITI, many experienced traders have built up years of strategies, market commentary and self-directed learning, but find it harder to turn that material into a consistent process covering market drivers, thesis building, risk management, disciplined execution and systematic review.

The programme links market analysis, strategy, execution, risk management and trading psychology through live teaching, applied market work and 1:1 mentorship. It is delivered in partnership with California-based Westcliff University and leads to an accredited master's degree in Trading. The next cohort starts on 27 October 2026, with applications currently open.

      Trading Psychology & Performance Certificate

ITI has also launched its Trading Psychology & Performance Certificate, a 16-week live online programme starting on 27 October 2026. The certificate combines two Master's-level courses, Trading Psychology and Advanced Trading Psychology, and is aimed at traders who know what they should be doing but find it difficult to execute consistently under pressure.

The course covers cognitive bias, emotional regulation, risk perception and decision-making under uncertainty. Participants then build systems around behavioural KPIs, pre-trade routines, review processes and recovery protocols. The programme finishes with each student producing a personal Trader Performance Operating System, with ITI positioning psychology as a performance discipline rather than motivational content.

      1:1 Mentorship and Foundation Courses

For traders whose requirements do not fit a set course, ITI offers 1:1 Trading Mentorship with experienced market professionals. Mentors are matched to the individual, and sessions can focus on execution, risk, psychology, strategy refinement, review or accountability. ITI says the focus is on experienced feedback and a more disciplined development process rather than prediction or shortcuts.

At entry level, ITI runs Trading for Beginners twice a year. The current cohort began on 15 September and covers chart analysis, market context, risk and rules-based trade planning across eight live sessions.

The institute also provides standalone courses and certificates in specialist areas, allowing traders to address a specific gap, work privately with a mentor, or enrol on the full graduate programme.

Applications for the October Master's cohort and enrolment for the Trading Psychology & Performance Certificate are now open. Traders interested in mentorship can request an initial consultation with ITI.
