B2PRIME, a global financial services provider for institutional, professional and retail clients, has released its H1 2026 Performance Update, reporting growth in profitability and trading activity during a period of heightened market volatility.
The update comes as non-bank liquidity providers continue to gain market share amid shifting prime brokerage dynamics. B2PRIME said the volatile commodities and FX conditions seen in the second quarter served as a live stress test for its execution model.
Net profit for the quarter rose 78.7% quarter on quarter to €12.81 million, while operating profit increased 73.8% to €13.06 million.
Gross profit climbed 49.4% to €15.55 million, with gross profit margin expanding from 37.1% to 54.6% within the quarter.
On a year on year basis, income from client trading grew 51.4% to €28.48 million. Gross profit was up 63.8% year on year, and net profit increased 36.5%.
Trading income for the first half of 2026 reached €56.5 million, already surpassing the €52.8 million generated across the whole of 2025.
Annualising the first half performance points to full year net profit of close to €40 million, which would represent an increase of 167% over 2025's full year earnings, equivalent to around 2.7 times the previous year's result.
The results come alongside continued investment in the infrastructure underpinning the Group's offering. B2PRIME has also begun embedding artificial intelligence more deeply into its technology stack, including the launch of its AI Assistant within B2TRADER, as part of a broader move towards building an AI native brokerage to support its next stage of development.
