Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, the world’s second-largest by trading volume, has launched 24/5 trading for selected stock CFDs on its TradFi platform. The move expands access to traditional assets and aligns them more closely with crypto’s continuous trading model.
The change allows users to trade stock CFDs 24 hours a day, five days a week, with the first batch of 20 stock CFDs now available under the extended framework. Existing positions remain unaffected, with trading and swap fees continuing at current rates.
Since the launch of its stock CFD offering in May 2025, Bybit has expanded coverage to more than 100 equities, including technology firms such as NVIDIA, MSTR, and META, and crypto-related stocks including COIN and CRCL.
To support the expansion, Bybit TradFi has waived trading fees on stock CFDs and indices until 11 October 2025. During the promotion, eligible users can trade indices such as CHINA50, CHINAH, HK50, HKTECH, and TWINDEX, as well as equities including NVDA, TSLA, AAPL, GOOG, INTC, COIN, and MSTR, at zero transaction cost.
Bybit’s stock CFD trading had previously followed standard U.S. market hours, with trading limited to around 6.5 hours per day. Under that schedule, traders unable to participate during the U.S. session were unable to adjust positions or hedge risk until the next day.
By introducing 24/5 trading, Bybit said it aims to reduce time-zone barriers, enable continuous risk management, and provide global users with greater flexibility. The change is also intended to give cross-asset traders a more unified experience, bridging the gap between crypto’s 24/7 markets and traditional finance products.
The company highlighted three key benefits of the update:
Always available: Stock CFDs on U.S. equities can now be traded around the clock, Monday to Friday.
Global accessibility: Extended hours reduce time-zone limitations and broaden participation.
Greater control: Users can manage positions on their own schedule rather than within fixed market hours.
Bybit is among the first crypto-native platforms to introduce 24/5 trading for traditional assets, positioning the development as part of its mission to connect digital assets with traditional finance.
Bybit TradFi is powered by Infra Capital Limited.
