DXcharts, the financial charting library from global software developer for the capital markets, Devexperts, has announced its latest round of updates. The update includes the addition of support for custom JavaScript studies, expanding the range of available indicators to infinite.
Following the update, clients are now free to create their own indicators with any calculation logic based on price data, run multiple output series with a variety of visualizations, and perform common technical analysis calculations with built-in utility functions. This enhancement positions DXcharts as a flexible solution for firms looking beyond standard charting capabilities, offering a competitive edge in a market often comparing features like those found in MT4 vs MT5.
The new capability will allow firms to build exactly the analytics their traders need, instead of being limited to a fixed set of indicators. The update will improve product differentiation without the need for extensive modifications, whilst allowing traders to see accurate, real-time patterns in the same workflow, supporting faster decisions. Such advanced customisation can be a key differentiator, especially for those seeking the capabilities of AI trading platforms.
Custom studies are fully integrated with the chart mainframe and update automatically in real time when loading historical data.
The latest update also includes a new feature, allowing firms to hide menu items and settings in the DXcharts UI, further enabling product differentiation without the need for deep customization.
The update will give firms licensing DXcharts more control over the look and feel of their charts, while highlighting those items they most want or need.
DXcharts is the powerful financial charting library from Devexperts. Its full-scale offering combines advanced technologies, in-depth customization capabilities, and extensive documentation to provide sophisticated financial charting solutions for traders. Including an extensive (100+) indicator library and offers a comprehensive (40+) suite of drawing tools, DXcharts enables traders to work directly with orders and positions; choose between diverse layout options; and easily compare instruments for an overall improved trading experience. Understanding precise market movements, such as order blocks in smart money concepts, can be significantly enhanced through custom indicators.
Denis Krivolapov, Product Manager of DXcharts at Devexperts, stated: “We are pleased to be bringing the capability for custom JavaScript indicators to DXcharts - this will give firms more autonomy over their product offering, and help them to set themselves apart from competitors, without the need for extensive customization work. We are also pleased to offer firms the ability to personalize their menus and settings - again, providing an opportunity to make DXcharts truly their own, and set themselves apart from other offerings in the market. Our work to update and improve DXcharts is ongoing and we look forward to introducing further updates that support the evolution of DXcharts for our clients in due course.”
