July 20, 2023 - Financial technology provider Your Bourse has launched the Stop-Out Plugin, a new feature aimed at enhancing control and efficiency in proprietary trading. This tool allows brokers to disable or stop out accounts on the MT4 Server based on predefined equity thresholds, offering a solution to manage potentially abusive scalper activities.
The Stop-Out Plugin works by constantly tracking the equity of individual accounts on the MT4 Server. Once installed, the plugin evaluates the initial deposit amount for each account and monitors all subsequent trades. If the account equity falls below the "negative stop-out" parameter or rises above the "positive stop-out" parameter, the plugin closes all open positions and orders, disables the account, and labels it as "failed" or "passed" according to the met condition.
The new tool provides brokers with the flexibility to set distinct negative and positive stop-out thresholds for different account groups. All further settings and management are performed through the Your Bourse platform interface following the plugin's installation on MT4.
The Stop-Out Plugin can be practically applied in various scenarios, including trader contests where brokers assign funds to trading accounts. Another potential use case is as a robust measure against scalpers, who profit from short-term price discrepancies and can negatively impact brokers' operations. By adjusting the stop-out parameters, brokers can effectively discourage scalpers, fostering a fair and secure trading environment.
Your Bourse's launch of the Stop-Out Plugin represents an important development in proprietary trading technology. The tool's ability to auto-monitor and disable accounts based on equity thresholds gives brokers improved control, risk management, and protection against scalping activities.
The Stop-Out Plugin, available to all Your Bourse clients at no additional cost, offers comprehensive stop-out functionality to protect traders and minimize potential losses. The tool integrates smoothly into existing setups for a seamless risk management experience, customizable to individual client requirements.
Your Bourse is the connectivity provider that offers a comprehensive Platform-as-a-Service solution for FX, CFD, and crypto liquidity management, data analytics, reporting, and risk management.
